• Candidates who passed H.S.(10+2) Examination conducted by the W.B.C.H.S.E or its equivalent Examination are eligible to seek admission to the 1st Semester of U.G. courses.
• Students seeking admission will be admitted strictly on the basis of Merit List after submission of application forms online as per the schedule given by the College.
• An applicant can apply in Honours as well as in General Course. In that case, separate application has to be submitted for the Honours and General course.
• An applicant can apply in more than one Honours course for Arts Stream. In that case also, separate application has to be submitted for the each Honours course.
• Applicants from Vocational Courses are not eligible to apply in Honours Course.
• All the prescribed testimonials are required to be uploaded online during application.
• Payment of fees should be done only through e-payments. Online application is free of cost.
• Admission process is authenticated when verification of original marks sheet and other documents is completed after the fulfilment of the criteria.
• Original documents along with the print out of the filled up Admission Form, Payment Challan, One recent passport size colour photo, Character Certificate issued by the institution attended last, Cast Certificate recognized by Government of West Bengal, if any, are mandatory at the time of verification.
• Duly filled in and signed declaration for Anti-Ragging and Sexual Harassment to be uploaded in the link provided in college website after downloading the declaration form from college website.
• The schedule of verification of documents will be notified in due course.
• No physical presence will be required at the college premises.
• Admission to the College is provisional till the registration is confirmed by the University of Calcutta.
• Admission will be cancelled if the documents are found not in conformity with the declaration in the forms submitted on-line.

GUIDELINES FOR UPLOADING DOCUMENTS WHILE FILLING UP THE ONLINE APPLICATION FORM

Please keep the following documents ready according to the prescribed size and type of file before filling up the online admission form

I. 4-Year B.COM. Honours/Honours with Research (with exit option after 2 nd/4th/6 th Semester) and 3-Year B.COM. General Degree Programme (with exit option after 2nd/4th Semester)

Best of Four Marks: Please note that aggregate obtained in class XII shall be calculated by adding the marks in best four subjects in order of marks secured by a candidate. Marks in compulsory Environmental Education / Environmental Science / Environmental Studies shall not be taken into account for calculation of aggregate marks. If the Environmental Science is studied as an elective subject of 100 marks, it may be taken into account for the purpose of determining the aggregate marks. Full marks in each subject passed should be 100.

NOTE: Candidates belonging to the SC, ST communities should obtain a minimum of 40% marks in the aggregate OR 40% marks in the subject or related subjects and pass marks in English. SC, ST communities recognised by Govt. of West Bengal are only eligible for this exemption.
